@ireneista @HunterZ @mttaggart @mos_8502 @mwl some small nations actually make a decent amount of their GDP from their domain names. Like the Federated States of Micronesia's .fm, or Tuvalu's .tv, or I guess the infamous .tk (Tokelau) @ChartreuseK @HunterZ @mttaggart @mos_8502 @mwl it's quite a situation internet governance has gotten into, in that regard. we have no idea what the ideal state of things would be or how to move towards it ethically. |
