@inari@jon I've messed with Haiku. It has most of the apps which I need, but I want a login page - I suspect there's some way of doing it, but it's not obvious.

Hehe... as far as I remember, Haiku was originally a desktop system for a personal computer.
This is a feature of the system that there is no choice of the user, because he is alone and it is you.
