first, terms & privacy policy are in the agreement provided when you intend to get a VM, however i will put them in the footer tomorrow.
the free offer is provided to those who run an open source project that is to be publically accessible on the web - anyone not qualifying in this can still use the service but the free offer isn't applied.
the dashboard is a bit of a mess right now (proxmox), but it's being rewritten as we speak for something more intuitive and scalable
@wedotyou all this checks out. I self host a lot of open source, but the stuff is almost exclusively used by me.
The big one at Hetzner is https://beanbag.boehs.org/share/JGBYO4bVg3kZVQUb, which is technically open source: https://github.com/boehs/miami. I would be willing to move it over, but I believe that this is not the intended use.
