I made this table comparing WeWork and my local gay sauna. I hope somebody finds this useful

@thamesynne @wawik @Ninji Printers are so XX century. If you want to read a document open it on the free iPad. @chrisisgr8 @JessTheUnstill @wawik @Ninji saw this out of context and read "moist pointers" next to Chris and thought "oh god what have they done now with C" @JessTheUnstill @wawik @Ninji listen, at the school where I work at, the previous printer was destroyed by an anvil. At this point I think the universe itself has started to fight back against printing @mcnado @JessTheUnstill @wawik @Ninji Well, we are an animation and video-game school, so... perhaps. I have not seen any roadrunners around though @JessTheUnstill @wawik @Ninji my IT admin friend has had multiple water leaks over their printer/plotter room. So a moisture proof printer would definitely have a use! @Ninji had never heard of such a thing. But looking at Pipeworks website I'm really intrigued and hope there's something similar here :3 @matt @Ninji @luke Have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in again? #0x61011bed @Ninji while the lack of an app is discoraging, can't say no to £19 a visit ...unless there's a limit on how long they let you stay? (Other than opening hours) @Ninji two comments: @Ninji can we please get the "has an app" colors reversed? @Ninji@wuffs.org for "has an app" the yes should be coloured red imo @Ninji @Ninji one of the WeWorks in SF was supposed to have a jacuzzi (and sauna) but they never got the permitting. Something about having a hot tub on the 48th floor didn't go over well. @Ninji What I have also learned here is that gay saunas are a lot better than regular saunas @Ninji This is an excellent chart. I would only note that the Wi-Fi isn't "Free" but is included in the price. As long as I don't need to make any copies, the sauna is a better deal! (Probably more relaxing, too) @Ninji this is especially hilarious because I know a number of people who work at a local software company named Pipeworks. @Ninji so I could basically live in a gay sauna 🤯 and pay less than I do now for rent and utilities @Ninji The WeWork I attended had free beer every afternoon and other drinks and sometimes food on Thursday afternoons. @Ninji so if you consume less than 10 coffees a day and your job doesn't require a printer, then it is better to go at the gay sauna... Seems reasonable @Ninji As an artist I sometimes want to print high quality prints of my art, so if Pipeworks had a good printer this wouldn't even be a choice. @Ninji Brilliant: somewhere cheaper than WeWork to have the video call conferences! :) @Ninji gay sauna but all of the fuck booths have those Google Meet kiosk things in them @Ninji So the gay sauna just needs to provide free coffee and they'll make a killing. @Ninji ah I see you’ve fallen prey to the classic blunder, “post thing with obvious quibbling potential and have it do numbers” @Ninji@wuffs.org wait i looked them up, they have glory holes and wework doesn't, so i think they win @Ninji Oh, Scotland. Yeah I see their point. |
@Ninji I think the gay sauna should have printers in the jacuzzi tbh
