@pojntfx @cas @fossdd I'd be soooo happy to see tinted folder variants make a comeback. I remember an addon for changing the folder colors and saving it to metadata, but I think it broke somewhere around gnome 43

@pojntfx @cas @fossdd This is planned, but won't happen as long as they're just icons fetched with our regular icon infrastructure. It will happen in a future where Files draws its folder icons programatically.
