@esoteric @thegibson For me, #signal messages arrive almost at once. If you're seeing delays, it may mean that #Android is putting Signal to sleep. Try going into Android settings and disabling battery optimisation for Signal.

Also make sure you're using the latest version of the app: a few months ago, I saw the problem you describe, but it was fixed by an update.
