@drq @gnome New order sounds more reasonable. When I was still using Gnome it one of things I disliked.
But it's a good thing to give user an ability to reorder them for their preference if it's not possible right now.

To me, finding most recent things I worked on quickly takes priority over where they are physically in the filesystem.
It's for the same reason that I deem alphabetical sorting in file managers irrelevant.
