@simon_brooke @evan I do feel kinda dumb because I can't find how to buy the book on the o'reilly website

@gkrnours @evan D'oh!

I hadn't even spotted it for an O'Reilly -- to be fair, the last spiral bound O'Reilly I bought was 'UUCP and Usenet', which must be 40 years ago now!

@simon_brooke @evan I don't see a buy buttom, only sign up for trial which I'm not interested in

@gkrnours @simon_brooke @evan same. Kind of bummed. Was hoping for something I can own.

@amartya00 @simon_brooke @evan I have the feeling o'reilly switched to full online proprietary thing + humble bundle so I could cross finger and wait for a bundle or pass on the book. Bummer.

@gkrnours @amartya00 @simon_brooke I'll definitely share buy links once the book is in stores next week.

Evan Prodromou

@gkrnours @simon_brooke The book will be in stores later this week. This is my personal post about my enjoyable party. I'll be having another one on Monday 30 Sep 2024 and that will be a great time to buy the book.

@simon_brooke @gkrnours It's an e-book, not spiral bound. My wife printed a spiral copy for me to read at the event.

@galactus @simon_brooke @evan I did a search on the book isbn and I got no link to any e-shop but maybe it was too early or I didn't look well enough?

Sergio

@gkrnours @simon_brooke @evan I guess its early, Evan wrote “next week” :-)

Evan Prodromou

@galactus @gkrnours @simon_brooke Correct. The O'Reilly folks said it would be up on oreilly.com in a couple of days and out to other channels later in the week.
