Suspect the audience for the Poll on Mastodon is not neutral.
Also, a secondary question is "Would you by an electric car in 2024?"

I'm a no on Tesla.
Overpriced for what they are and the competition has caught up.
Also, ethics.

Would I buy and electric car.
If my budget let me get a car with the range I needed I would.
Child plays football and regularly need to do 200+ mile drives in one day to places I don't know so unsure of actual/working charging options.
Went for hybrid.

One parent left an hour early to guarantee they'd have time for charging.
On the way back they were 10 miles from home and the car was reading zero charge. They chanced it and limped home.
I get range isn't as good as petrol and for most or a second car that only does local driving electric is a great option.

When my budget stretches to a car with 400 mile stated range (so really 200ish in all conditions) I'm all in on electric.
