@chad we absolutely adore our '23 Bolt. 80k kms in over 18 Mos and we would buy another in a heartbeat.

@rightsprung I'm infinitely disappointed that GM abandoned the Volt platform. It was tried tested and true.

I'm from a pure GM family and I don't know if I would buy a GM EV on the new platform yet.

@chad ya for sure the Volt was a great car and quite popular.

I'm interested to see the next generation of Bolt as well. The platform, if I understand correctly, is across the models (?)

@rightsprung as far as I understand, the Bolt/Volt platform was scrapped, despite over a decade of experience and knowledge, so whatever is coming is brand new from GM.

@chad most recently in the news is that they laid off 680 people from Fairfax Kansas to re-tool for producing the 2025 Bolt on the Ultium platform, and very little else changed in the design, but it's the EUV and not the smaller EV. I guess we will find out next year!
