If they're privacy-conscious, then Librewolf might be a better recommendation. They have more hardened defaults and strip out most (all?) phone-home behavior.
My threat model does not require something as extensive as Librewolf but if I were to choose a project then I would rather pick Mullvad Browser as per PrivacyGuides recommendations (https://www.privacyguides.org/en/desktop-browsers).
My main gripe with web browsing isn't really privacy (even though that is a major part of it) but rather the Chromium/Blink monopoly of the web, which is why I still recommend Firefox despite all the controversy.
