@neauoire Is it a Canadair goose? Everyone in Greeced warned us to pay attention to the marked water scooping areas on the charts and stay the fuck away from them during wildfire season. They will not hit you, but they are a) crazy good at their job and b) possibly a little actual crazy and c) will go out of their way to scare you into never doing it again by flying as close as possible to your rig without actually touching it. Or maybe high-five your VHF antenna. @neauoire uhhhhhhhhhhhh I did this by *accident* last year in Nanaimo and had the Nanaimo Port Police waking me up at 6am telling me the area was a charted aerodrome and even extending a foot into it was a navigational hazard, and that I had to move immediately. They were nice about it, but made clear that the yellow box on the chart was a no-go zone. I personally wouldn't want to play chicken with a high velocity craft's runway, but y'all do you 😂 @klardotsh you know what, when we dropped anchor we said "Hey we picked Josh's spot!" lol We'll wait for their visit ^^ |
@neauoire
WTF… no signals?
It's a dangerous place!
