@robotsneedhugs I really like not having any wires on me while walking around, if I was gonna have a wire on the back of my neck I might as well have one running into my phone @liaizon fair enough! I personally find them to be unobtrusive but totally understand. I'm cautiously optimistic about Pine64's upcoming PineBuds, but there's no clear timeline that I'm aware of. and again, repairability isn't explicitly one of their goals, but I suspect they'll be better at it than the other major players. |
@liaizon sorry, I don't - but in my limited experience, the "neckband" style wireless headphones are more durable, better battery life, etc than "true wireless" airpod-likes. that doesn't necessarily mean they're easier to service yourself but I suspect they would be.
