@giffengrabber it doesn't attempts to use any of its potential wasted energy for its own survival. It is constantly wasting heat and food waste (both energy) instead of reusing those sources. I could imagine a fridge with a built in food drier and compost bin, maybe a blender as well so the food waste doesnt take up too much room
