Is there a reason why Threads accounts don’t show a profile picture on the left but is included in links to other accounts, such as my screenshot?

@ivory sorry, should have checked that first. They don’t show up on the local server either. But they are on v4.2.12 and I don’t understand enough to see why the images won’t come through.  @iestynx Yea the fediverse can be weird sometimes. Have you noticed this for all threads posts/accounts or just a few recently? @iestynx Yea must be some weird server issue. Might be worth asking your server admins if there are any known issues related to image caching and Threads posts. |
@iestynx this is most likely server related. If you view that post from your server, do you see the correct image? If so, try hitting the “reset account cache” button in your ivory account settings. Federated threads posts from people you follow need to be downloaded to your server first and sometimes those media files aren’t loaded and cached in time when you view them in a client.
