Been using this app nearly every single day since it was first released during the great before-fore times! (solar opposites reference!)   @ivory ooh, I love this! Really appreciate being able to see the attachments on a truncated post - thank you!  @ivory New nav is a big improvement on iPhone SE, thank you! Feature request: the return of the Vintage theme from Tweetbot, please! (screenshot attached) I love Ivory, but the light theme is a little clinical compared to the warmth and humanity of the theme I used in Tweetbot. I honestly think it significantly improved my overall experience of late-era Twitter.  @k1m Ah yea. That's going to be soon. Next release will be a small one for iOS18 and then the one after should be the big Notifications tab update release. We've been waiting on Mastodon's grouped notifications API's to be finalized.  @ivory would it be possible to have the navigation menu and post buttons in the nav bar but in any position? Just an idea that I would use, I understand if it’s not worth implementing. Thanks for a great update! @nickfoster We thought about that, but did not like how things could look and there are cases where the post button would get hidden in the menu. Figured the 2 options we gave are better than none. 🙂 @ivory fair enough, thanks for considering 🙏 Also, please know that the reason I make small nitpicks is because that’s all there is to do; the core of the app is fantastic. Is that intentional?  @ivory nice update. @iestynx this is most likely server related. If you view that post from your server, do you see the correct image? If so, try hitting the “reset account cache” button in your ivory account settings. Federated threads posts from people you follow need to be downloaded to your server first and sometimes those media files aren’t loaded and cached in time when you view them in a client. @ivory sorry, should have checked that first. They don’t show up on the local server either. But they are on v4.2.12 and I don’t understand enough to see why the images won’t come through. @iestynx Yea the fediverse can be weird sometimes. Have you noticed this for all threads posts/accounts or just a few recently? @iestynx Yea must be some weird server issue. Might be worth asking your server admins if there are any known issues related to image caching and Threads posts. @aergonaut for sure! I understand you made this to accommodate the differentiation for the post button when it’s in the nav bar, but maybe when we opt to keep the post button outside, we could still have the color highlight of the selected tab? @ivory “Various bug fixes” is such an asinine statement to read in release notes, especially after you did such a good job of describing the new features. 😞 @ivory how would I know if a particular issue that I’ve been struggling with has been fixed? @JosephLeedy You wouldn't experience it anymore. 🙂 Most apps don't even provide any useful release notes. We think we have a happy middle ground. @ivory That’s precisely my point, though. I’m glad y’all offer some details, but I’m trying to say that it could be better. @ivory did you get rid of the icons? I lost mine! And I love it. Can't find them in settings now. @pawel We had to remove a few because iOS18's dark and tinted icons require 3x more 1024x1024 png files and just made the app size way too big. |

@ivory Love the new blueprint icon but also the new taskbar setup. Nice fit with the “new post” button inside the bar. Small but nice adjustment to feed my OCD!
