@bragefuglseth @Tuba @GeopJr I've just rejoined Mastodon and have been using Tuba, it feels super sleek. Native apps for social media should be more of a norm.

@bragefuglseth @Tuba @GeopJr hey I'm using it. Nice to see more general audience apps in the Circle.

@bragefuglseth @Tuba @GeopJr Anyone else always get that bug where you have to keep logging in every time you launch it?

@bragefuglseth @Tuba @GeopJr Congratulations!

I've personally used it before, and always found it very much in line with the GNOME way of thinking.

These days I prefer the website version, because it gives me access to more data at the same time, but Tuba will continue to be my recommendation for others that want a dedicated app :)

@bragefuglseth @Tuba @GeopJr #Tuba would be a great client if only it would remember where you left off reading in your home timeline, and not jump to the newest post at the slightest provocation. For example, if I want to highlight all or part of a post so I can copy it, you can't do that in Tuba without clicking on the post, and then when you have copied the text and try to go back to where you were, you get thrown up to the f-----g newest message. For that reason and that reason alone, I hate Tuba with the fire of a thousand burning suns, I have wasted SO much time just trying to get back to where I left off reading. In fact just about five minutes ago I switched from Tuba to the web client because of this.

Also I wish it had an option to not show you any toot more than once (for example of multiple people have boosted it) but I suppose you have no way to determine that.

Switch off the automatic fetching of new posts, then your problem disappears.

Another feature request: let the user choose the font size. At the moment I can only choose between too small and too large.

@bragefuglseth @Tuba @GeopJr Also forgot to ask, how on earth do you mute or block someone in Tuba? If there is a way I am sure not seeing it.
