Gregory's ServerWell, Image of the Week is hard to curate (and it was the wiki), but a simple semi-automatic welcome page with an explanation, list of events, how to use / contribute / contact, would be much better than what we have.

Even the old wikipage might advertise the community more than the map (which is great as well :) ).
As for the image if the week - props to @harry_wood again.
