@kkarhan @ThatOneGuyT_T but I wonder if you can really sue a company owing a restautant for alleged criminal negligence of its employee in Germany. I would rather expect a criminal investigation against the chef and maybe his manager, maybe with civil lawsuits against them as well.

@nanoelquant @ThatOneGuyT_T propably all of them would be in custody as suspects in a criminal case, and if someone dies, it's inevitably a criminal case and noone can dodge that nor stop investigators! In fact murder is one of the few things that'll get suspects ineligible for bail...

- Cuz death cases are "must investigate" by law espechally if the death certificate states anything but "death due to old age" or is like a certified death in a hospital due to medical conditions, and even that will get autopsy'd to prevent coverups.

Like a company can't weasel itself out of criminal charges and every bodily harm can't be excluded from that unless proven to be based off gross neglect by a customer...

- Safety is being taken serious here and consumer protection as well: So "forced arbitration" and other regulations that infringe on consumer rights are so blatantly illegal, both consumer protection agenvies and competitiors will basically flood anyone who dares that into insolvency with expensive "cease and decist letters" (they ain't free here for the perpertrator!)

So yeah, U.S. laws are a corporateist clusterfuck, and alongside the fact that it's an extremely litigatious juristictiom, I'd never want to do business in the USA...
