@robb I have until November to figure out how to pay my rent because of the new Patreon situation (and how Patreon continues to roll over), and I’m so glad that the era of the Apple fanboy is over. I was guilty of it at one point, too…you know when I was a literal child. It’s a relief to see people realizing the taste that made us love this stuff was made by real, amazing people that Apple refuses to even acknowledge by name wnd not automatically scream about podcasters daring to criticize it.

@robb The thing I find most offensive is that they have ~$67,000,000,000 cash on hand. Money in the bank that they could spend tomorrow.

That's not their total value, of course. There's a shit load more of that. This is just cold hard cash.

But they need 30% of what a kind person might choose to give you or I via Patreon. Which can surely only be pocket change to them.

It's a sickness.

@johnnydecimal @robb That's it. But I'm afraid you can only become so financially successful if you behave like an asshole and use every opportunity, no matter how small, to collect money. Above a certain level, this is only at the expense of others. And that is very, very sad.

@esamecar @johnnydecimal @robb
That sounds a lot like a Dickens novel. What was it called?

@robb If you stay at the same workplace for over one year, deductions from your salary will be reduced to 15% thereafter.
