I don't feel comfortable posting photos of my child on commercial social media (even on a private account, because... don't trust them with biometric info) and it would be a good excuse to get my family on the Fediverse. Where can I find more info/documentation about this?

I started a family instance when we welcomed our firstborn. It’ll be her social media training wheels, and preserver of family memories for years to come. I greatly appreciate all your hard work, and especially in recognizing the value of this use case 🫶
