When the greater evil has been enabled and exploited to manufacture consent, there is no such thing as a "lesser" evil. It's ONE system, tag-teaming us with a calculated good cop / bad cop game.
Neither party will listen to protesters or stop the violence. Protesters have already been getting shot at-- "less lethal" munitions may result in fewer outright deaths, but it's a calculated choice to avoid the outrage. Mowing us down in the streets would make us angry, so they just patiently beat, torture, maim, and mutilate us instead so they can pretend they have some kind of moral high ground.
At Emory college the police beat an unconscious 65-year old history professor until they broke 9 of his ribs, almost killing him. At UCLA the police just stood around watching while a right-wing mob came in to attack the protesters for 3 hours.
We are being gaslit on a massive scale. ALL the politicians in high positions of power serve ecocidal, genocidal war profiteers. All of them are heartless liars.
@violetmadder @paulschoe @captainrob @ayoub You lost me in the last sentence-I will be brutally honest here: #Gaza and eradication of #Palestine is going on for 75 years-no pause,no end in between. It pains me to say,but some voices in this movement really appear to be using this suffering to ride the wave of antiestablishment. The bit about lesser or bigger evil is very outdated in the context of today,an especially in the context of US politics
