It pains me to say,but some voices in this movement really appear to be using this suffering to ride the wave of antiestablishment. The bit about lesser or bigger evil is very outdated in the context of today,an especially in the context of US politics

@violetmadder @paulschoe @captainrob @ayoub Yes, because there is no so called ‘establishment’ you have the extremely rich who are now actively supporting #fascist and everyone else. The establishment you are talking about is a theoretical fantasy from the 70s&80s that was a useful distraction, so we would not focus on inequality and corporate greed. Fight these 2 things and you solved all other problems. Democracy is not the problem here. @violetmadder @paulschoe @captainrob @ayoub Values have to be agreed upon or should be a culmination of societal processes-one that we all could agree is that genocide and wars shouldn’t be acceptable anymore. |

Outdated?? What?? Yes, this has been going on for generations-- hell, centuries. Our sad parody of "democracy" was founded by genocidal slave owners, and until there's a whole new revolution of values-- globally-- the destruction and abuse won't stop.
We had ALL better be riding an anti-establishment wave, and a damn big one, or climate disasters, rampant disease, and water wars will kill billions of us (with a B) by the end of this century.
