Gregory's Server@mvyrmnd I'm using Tailscale with my home assistant setup, but I don't really want to be tethered to it when on vacation to use the "smart" features like alerts. That said, if there's a local system with good UX and easy setup, I'd consider it.

@garritfra if you used a Synology NAS It has apps that do all the things - you could send that to the internet directly or via Synology services or Tailscale, whatever you like
