You're anti-endorsement of WOTO occured in the original thread. that caused the silencing. When you jumped in you decried QOTOs stance and made it clear in that thread you were going to take action against QOTO.
Ultimately when you made those statements they spread like wildfire throughout the community and was the seed for what is not accusations against QOTO that continue to this day. While no one can provide any evidence of any of our users ever misbehaving (at least not without moderator action swiftly following) the view held by a small minority of us as being "fascist" originated from the comments you made that day. at least in my mind, that was the start of much of the accusations against us.
As you know a rumor is usually enough int he fediverse even when evidence isnt present. So that simple act on your part did a hell of a lot of damage in the long run.
