@SenseException I strongly agree and this is why a lot of young people in Italy joke about Anna Frank and Hitler, they are seen as comedy characters after decades of nazi jokes in Family Guy or comedy movies. Also this "weird" meme about Trump/the right I dont like it, weird used to be something to be proud of, meaning you are different than the mass. What is the opposite of weird? Normie? Conformist? This is not going to end well

@bull @SenseException @bojacobs The point is that those of us who are good weird know that we are weird, we're not mainstream, we're fine with that. The MAGA folk though, they've deluded themselves that they are normal, that they are the mainstream and everyone who is a real person is like them. That's why calling them weird gets so much under their skin. Because they're not normal. They are weird.

@ariaflame @bull @SenseException @bojacobs exactly, they’ve deluded themselves into thinking they are speaking for all Americans.

Telling them they are weird reminds them that they live in their strange little pocket of delusion and everyone outside of their cult thinks they’re weird.

It’s a step in the direction of shunning them from society and I am all for it. They are dangerous on multiple levels.

And living in fear of their reaction to us pushing back is exactly how they got so much power in the first place. “Oh NO Biden can’t do that (anything good) because then Trumpers will say ______ “

JFC at that point the boogie man doesn’t even have to really exist as long as everybody’s terrified about what they will do because of any kind of pushback.

That’s some real power. And we just handed it to them.
