@WedaleBooks @seanbala Sean touches on one of the bigger differences between Mastodon/Fediverse and other social media - people can follow hashtags, not just accounts. It’s just that here it’s much more important for reach. People follow hashtags for what interests them & using them in your posts means your posts will be boosted automatically to everyone who follows the particular hashtag/s you have used.
