People follow hashtags for what interests them & using them in your posts means your posts will be boosted automatically to everyone who follows the particular hashtag/s you have used. And bookish stuff is quite big here hence e.g #Bookstodon (You should also know that mini-lectures about Mastodon usage are also a thing π) @TheEdinburghBookshop @WedaleBooks itβs great isnβt it? I use it all the time - usually to edit hashtags in when Iβve forgotten π  @WedaleBooks In the unlikely event Iβm ever in the neighbourhood, Iβll drop by for sure. π And here are a few hashtags that may help folks discover you here:  @WedaleBooks I'm sure I've seen you boosted onto my timeline three or four times today!
