@Dreamship @eniko well, thankfully steam is rather competent when it comes down to obtaining metrics and don't do any obtuse shit like that (which some other services do) so using linux, mac, or a toaster is fine as long as it uses the steam api correctly, which depends more on the game than what it's run on, honestly
