@vkc in a home lab environment do you have a preferred method of doing so?
I’d imagine if I’m doing a regular rsync between two raid setups at separate locations I could do a review of data… but not sure that’d be the most effective use of time.

@baahemian "do I have a preferred method" - yes. Pretend everything failed, shut it all down, literally unplug it from the wall, and go through the steps you'd take to restore it.
I am firmly on the side of "don't trust a tool to be correct when they say you've backed up your data". Whatever means you have for backup, test them like a fire drill.
