:BoostOK:

Ubisoft just shut down the servers for The Crew. If you want to stop companies from destroying the games you bought and own, go to stopkillinggames.com and follow the instructions there. This time, there are actions that can be taken by anyone in the EU or US, so check it out, even if you don't own the game.

Before I forget, if you would like to know more, the latest Ross Scott video is also a good place to start: youtu.be/w70Xc9CStoE

Good news for game preservation!

The UK petition is now open : petition.parliament.uk/petitio

Australian petition will open soon! (probably)

As always check out www.stopkillinggames.com, especially if you own a copy of The Crew.

Hey Fedi!

Are you tired of the game industry selling you online-only games, only to shut them down after you bought them?

If you live in the UK, Canada or Australia, you can take action right now, by voting on government petitions!

Just go to stopkillinggames.com and follow the instructions.

Also check out the website if you happen to own a copy of The Crew specifically. Depending on your country, you may have other actions you could take, to pressure Ubisoft into patching the game to make it work offline.

If you would like to know more, you can also check out the latest Ross Scott video, wherein he also talks about some existing UK consumer laws that might force publishers to display the "expiration date" for online-only games prior to purchase : youtube.com/watch?v=XVGZe-xXS6

Hi Fedi!

Do you enjoy having your video game copy that you bought not being remotely destroyed forever by its publisher (aka online-only game being shut down)?

Do you live in the EU?

The "Stop Destroying Videogames" European Citizen Initiative is now open for signatures!

Just follow this link to the ECI's website : citizens-initiative.europa.eu/

Like all initiatives, 1 million signatures are needed within a year.

You might as well take the time to check all the other ongoing initiatives while you're there, if you haven't already done so this year.

Also check out stopkillinggames.com if you want to take more actions for this issue, especially if you own a copy of The Crew.
