@mikaellundin i'm simultaneously seeking a new job and terrified of the prospect of landing a new job because I haven't healed from my last one yet, even though all things considered the last company was one of the best i've ever worked for.

@mikaellundin I want to do that, but the main problem is that almost everything i want to do involves ancient stuff no one cares about commercially (or art which i need to get better at before i can do that) @wyatt8740 can’t say that all client work is what I’d love to do, but it’s still of my choosing. I choose to do this tedious task they hire me for and 100% of the compensation goes to me. The bad things aren’t so bad because I have chosen them myself. |
@wyatt8740 I hear you. I went from one toxic work environment to another until I said enough and became self employed. It’s not for everyone, but the absence of a boss makes the difference for me.
