Gregory's ServerThe #ThinkPad t520. It’s in very good condition for its age. Only needed minimal cleaning. As far as upgrades go, 16GB of RAM and a replacement battery are first up. The current one is about 44% degraded. After that, a 1600x900 display panel and an i7 quad core are next. I’ll probably upgrade the WiFi card at some point also. I’m loving this thicc machine so much.

 @68000 you can install Ivy Bridge CPUs on Sandy Bridge models afaik. But you need Coreboot-based firmware to get microcode for CPUs.  @Evv1L yeah, that is a thing, except its slightly less stable |
