@foone I work in video games and the products we make at my studio are generally considered to be held together with tape, glue, and broken promises. And then I look at people who are working on things like appliances and cars and their software is SO MUCH WORSE than our bad software.

@xorn @foone I would imagine that with video games you *know* that you are going to have a certain percent of your users who will get more joy out of breaking shit than playing normally and that factors into your “is this enough duct tape” consideration. Hardware companies that now have to do software still haven’t got those users properly on their radar yet…
