@ivory New share sheet is vastly improved. Kudos. Question: when sharing from something like Flickr, is it possible to automatically pull the text from Flickr’s title field into the main text area to become the toot? Or would Flickr have to do something to make this work? 5 comments
@ivory Maybe coz I add more info? It doesn’t show the title for me. Just the raw link and attaching a copy of the photo to the toot.  @leebennett Ah interesting. Flickr seems to share different content depending on if you use the website or their app. When using their app, they share an image and a URL and media always takes priority for displaying a preview over a URL card. We never show both. @ivory Good observation. I almost always use the app and actually prefer that behavior. Auto-pulling Title contents to become the toot would just make the workflow a bit easier by not having to copy the Title text and paste it into the share sheet. @leebennett Yea. Just have to think about that as there are many scenarios where it's just duplicating what's already in the OpenGraph card. There are some strange scenarios like the Flickr app where this design kind of fails. 😅 |

@leebennett We might be able to make it an option in the future, but honestly want to keep things as simple as possible. That title is already displayed in the URL card so not sure why it needs to be repeated again?
