@VeryBadLlama I was half-heartedly wondering exactly how true this is, and started alphabetically, (as you do), so now I know that the current Afghan national anthem includes the lines"Look at these many skulls, that's what was left by the Russians" and honestly that's enough for me to say 'yup, checks out.' to the rest.
