Sailing in Europe sounds really nice, you sail for 3 hours and you're in a different country. In the North Pacific, you sail for 3 days and you're still in the same fjord.

@yngmar there were pictures of sailing in Tuscany in the Sitka bathrooms, teasing me, when all I could see outside was ice cold rain.

@neauoire We moan about the heat instead. And the fires. And the crowding. Europe isn't just the Med though, there's plenty of cold fingers sailing to be had, too.

@neauoire your imagination about EU a bit far from reality. Here you can find both -- short and long -- distances between countries.

@neauoire hmmm... 3 hours with at least 25knts tailwind, I'd say :) But yeah, it's amazing how you can change landscape within a 48h hours navigation. Being based in France is a blessing in that part! Very central ;)
