@ivory I read through the replies and I didn't see anyone else ask this (so, it is likely just me). Is the primary purpose of a hashtag list so that I can unfollow tags and clean up my home feed? Do they sync across devices? (It doesn't appear they do.)

@cdevroe Yup. Following a hashtag is to see them in your main timeline. Creating hashtag lists are for unique hashtag timelines that don't clutter your home feed.
They don't sync yet, but probably will in the future.
