@simon I'm just wondering how many things goes wrong on modern websites, if I set "*.google.com" and affiliated sites in Blocklist of my opnsense router 🤔

Google really belongs to the same category, like facebook and chinese toktik 😂

@jozefch @simon why did you feel the need to specify Chinese here? They arnt bad because they are a Chinese company they are bad because they are a big tech company and by definition have profit incentives that are harmful to their users

@jan_leila @simon don't be a fool, please. EVERY single chinese tech company have to play along with CCCP and share information. You can't do otherwise...

You are correct that those companies are run just for profit, not paying attention to the mental health of users from the use of its products. Those are just too addictive, because they abuse the brain's weaknesses.

@jozefch @simon The biggest thing it breaks is every website that uses Recaptcha.

Recaptcha loads from both google.com and gstatic.com to make sure you can never block either if you still want to use most of the Internet.
