~ boat updates ~

- we sailed to trinidad two days ago, good timing to escape main path of hurricane beryl - “third earliest major hurricane to ever form in the Atlantic” - :(
- where we’re anchored now is under tropical storm warning, hopefully all will be fine
- picked up hitchhiking french couple, been nice to have more friends on the boat
- working on boat projects, like repairing the jib’s frayed sunbrella
- weve all been practicing spanish to prepare for a journey 2 columbia >:)
