@Gargron Groovy, looks like I'm in the minority there then! ๐

@Gargron "Mastodon ist ein soziales Netzwerk. Es basiert auf offenen Web-Protokollen und freier, quelloffener Software. Es ist dezentral (so wie E-Mail!)." -_-

@Gargron how do you rate my server's description? :vrparty: :shibahello:

I am pretty surprised to find mine may qualify for both. But I've never bothered setting up a second person with the keys to the server, so I don't qualify for inclusion in the directory. Ah well!

@Gargron Dunno, kinda feel like we nailed it with ours: "Fosstodon is an English speaking Mastodon instance that is open to anyone who is interested in technology; particularly free & open source software." It's short. It's a description. Mission accomplished?

@Gargron I would find it interesting where / on what hardware / at what cost an instance is hosted, as well as how/by whom the expenses are covered. Also, some hints on the motivation for creating an instance and (hopefully) longterm commitment to maintain it would be useful. Not sure all of this fits in a 'short description', though. |
@Gargron I prefer to describe them by size and color.
