I voted 1200, but honestly it might have been 2400. It wasn't even used for your fancy interneting with pictures! It was all telnet. Text-based adventure, if you can imagine. I used to help dad connect to the telnet bank and pay the bills. The very future was offered to us in the comfort of our home.
