@FirefoxNightly Please focus on performance, security, and web standards implementations, not adding support for software built on mass copyright violations with the intention of enriching a few from the labor of many. @FirefoxNightly Wow, didn't expected that @brave handel's such implementations much better than Firefox 💀 It seems Mozilla doesn't even want to try to self-host opensource models, like DuckDuckGo and Brave do and instead use the worsest providers imaginable. 😖 What I would like to see: Only opensource models like Llama and Mixtral beeing used and hosted by Mozilla with no data collection at all. @FirefoxNightly ...do we really need more failed LLM experiments by Mozilla? Firefox Translations is an actually good application of AI in Firefox, hooking up to third-party services using up gigawatts of energy (or copyright-infringement-powered local LLMs) isn't. @FirefoxNightly Nightly has been my everyday desktop browser for longer than I can remember. That finishes today. Please tell the lunatics in charge of the asylum to get a grip. @FirefoxNightly I get everyone hating on LLMs, but this is an *experiment*, if it's found that people don't care, they might focus elsewhere. |
@FirefoxNightly Stop adding stupid AI bloatware. NOBODY wants it. It's increasing the harm we do on our environment.
STOP IT!
