@GuillaumeRossolini@tinker disagree. to give a car more performance you must burn more fuel faster, but to make software more performant you must do less. identify things that do not need to happen and remove them. Just making something as simple as possible generally gives quite good performance. but it takes longer to get there because you have to really understand how it works like the quote about "sorry I didn't have time to write a short letter"
