The #EU member states could not agree on #ChatControl today. The Council Presidency has removed it from the voting agenda because they do not have a sufficient majority. 🥳

We need to stay vocal and make it clear that we will not accept mass #surveillance. 📢

@Tutanota if it had been voted down would it have been difficult to pass at all? Or: is this just a tactic to get it passed anyway later?

@Kierkegaanks If the vote had been approved it would still face major constitutional court hurdles before it would touch companies. Regardless, we need to keep fighting to stop #ChatControl before it reaches that point.
