Gregory's Server@jk @Gargron i don't enjoy watching producers at all, which is good, if i see someone producing on youtube i get stressed out cos they do things wrong and bad. so thats reassuring. jazz theory youtube is interesting tho? noone taught me theory so i gotta get it from somewhere. tho tbh ive picked up more theory from that asshole fagen
@envgen @Gargron i think many educational music resources either seem obvious & boring to me or obfuscated to make the teacher seem smart? but this kinda goes into my whole "about 40% of music theory is useless and wrong" thing, which i've always found gets weirdly huge amount of pushback from people so i don't bring it up that often. maybe i should just lean into it and become a Music Truther who rids the world of the haters
