@envgen @Gargron i think many educational music resources either seem obvious & boring to me or obfuscated to make the teacher seem smart? but this kinda goes into my whole "about 40% of music theory is useless and wrong" thing, which i've always found gets weirdly huge amount of pushback from people so i don't bring it up that often. maybe i should just lean into it and become a Music Truther who rids the world of the haters
