@Gargron@emmadavidson Let the first watering dry out somewhat, and you should still be able to gently pull the plant up in its original root ball, add more of the potting soil you used (use the same one to help consistent watering) and add the new mix pretty loosely to bring the height up, kind of conically, inverse of the root ball. Now do a much gentler watering that you might normally, you don't want to add to the stress by having the roots soak in water.
