@neauoire Wow it's really cool how you can just draw random lines and the electrons will flow through them.

@neauoire imagine patching this somehow to orca, like an electrode in here could broadcast a signal to an orca cell

also, Wireworld represeeeeeeent 🤩

@rezmason orca is not a cellular automata tho, it just looks like one, so the runtime would be really strange if they could interop ^^

@neauoire It would be like driving a Max MSP with seismometer data or making a string of lights in a park blink incoming bits from Voyager 1

@neauoire on my machine the live demo is not smooth at all on firefox (it seems to hang for 1s all the time then quickly catching up), while working perfectly fine under chrome :(
I tried completely restarting firefox with no effect.

@valdenthoranar I noticed this error on some other firefox too, for some reason it's skipping framerequest(), on rek's laptop, I see the same issue. I'll look into it, I don't have chrome, so I thought maybe it was for all browsers.

@neauoire This automaton behaves a lot like these experiments with lighter fluid... youtube.com/watch?v=SqhXQUzVMl
