I was asked to do a video interview, but in the end they couldn't send a crew to where I live. I know the interview would be good for Mastodon, but I am so relieved I don't have to do it ๐Ÿ˜…

@Gargron

the band TISM once did an interview on a football field, separated from the interviewers by a long length of rope. if the rope drooped to the ground, they stopped answering questions.

just a thought. ๐Ÿ™‚

@Gargron Being that everyone in TV just did Zoom for like 2 years, I feel like they didnโ€™t try that hard thenโ€ฆ

@Gargron

Did they give you a sense of what they would cover in the interview?

self-made skeleton

@Gargron honestly fair. i can't imagine how overwhelming all this must be. mastodon users are hella passionate about the platform so you got us to help with the recruitment process at least ๐Ÿ’•

@Gargron your work deserve to have the light be shed on. Have you considered reaching to tech news outlets and ask them for interviews?

The reason they wanted to shoot a video interview was because they really liked the other interview I did with them that will go out as text. So do not worry, I was not ghosted.
